Holden, in Johnson County, is a small town nestled in the west central region of Missouri near the Ozarks. It is served by State highways 58 and 131, about 30 miles east of the Kansas City suburbs.
Holden and Johnson County offer a number of attractions and events. The Rodeo is an annual event, as is the 4th of July Celebration with a free fireworks display. The Fall Fiesta is held each year in downtown Holden, and offers plenty of entertainment, rides, food and crafts.
